Coronavirus Updates 27th March 2020
We are all finding ourselves in uncharted waters in these difficult times. Firstly may I say that I hope that you, your family, staff and friends are all well.
At PPT we believe that Health and Safety is of paramount importance and we are therefore closely monitoring and adapting the service we provide in line with government guidelines and advice.
Our absolute priority is the health and well-being of our team and customers, and we have a responsibility to change the way we work under the most recent advice issued by the government regarding COVID-19.
The following is the situation regarding our service provision as of today, this will be reviewed constantly as the ever-changing situation evolves.
The office will be manned by one of our reduced team. We will continue to have an engineer available to carry out Site Visits, Maintenance and Servicing to “Essential” Businesses, Industries and Front-Line Service Providers so they can continue to operate in a safe and clean environment.
As we are operating with skeleton staffing, we have closed our retail showroom to walk in customers, however we are still very much here continuing to work in the office and workshops. Pressure Washers, Steam Cleaners, Cleaning Products and other cleaning equipment are STILL available for purchase. Please call us and we can discuss your requirements over the phone.
Site Visits, Maintenance and Servicing
Our service team will prioritise maintaining and repairing machines in key sectors. Where practicable and within the strictest health and safety conditions we will be able to carry out SOME urgent emergency repair work on site to keep key businesses operational.
Where possible we would prefer machines to be delivered to us at our workshop in Bodmin, alternatively we can possibly collect your machine depending on location and engineer availability. This situation is under constant review. We will require an email where possible, confirming the reasons a call out is necessary.
If you have a machine you need repairing we are available to do this, we are absolutely insisting on “contact free” interactions and that in line with government guidelines you comply with social distancing rules and ensure all advice given, regarding cleaning and hygiene before visiting.
If you wish to pick up a machine that is in our workshop, please contact us in advance to make the necessary arrangements for handover, again agreeing to comply with “contact free” and social distancing guidelines.
The car wash bays will remain open for now. Our car wash bays are used by many essential service users and to ensure the highest hygiene standards for some of our customers vehicles we have decided that they will remain open. We may take the decision to switch off the machines from 17.00pm until 09.00am daily and close them at weekends, this will be under constant review.
At this moment in time we are not experiencing any supplier delays, however this may change over the coming days and weeks.
